Description
Silicate
Silicate is a very important element for the health of more developed plants, especially if grown in water alone. The new neutral pH silicate is composed of organic matter, subjected to a long biological process of transformation, and natural clay containing silicic acid.
Silicate?s natural colloids enhance the cation exchange capacity within the nourishing solution, thus increasing the availability of nutrients for plants.
Silicate stabilizes the pH and electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution, reducing the stress of fast-growing plants.
Silicate also protects plants from the toxic effects of metals.
No less important, Silicate contains more than 60 minerals that enrich the nutrients for lush plant growth.
The new Silicate is produced - like the old - from ancient deposits of organic substance but adds some advantages :
a higher content of silicate
smaller particles for better absorption
more carbonates for a more stable pH
offers calcium to the plant
Use:
Spread one teaspoon (about 4 g) of powder at the base of each plant.
In the nutrient solution, the dose is 4 g/10 L.
Directly on the leaves : 10 to 50 g/m2 or spray on the leaves a solution of 4 g/10 L of water.
